Welcome to the Car Benefit Solutions (CBS) website. CBS was formed in 2002 by the current Management Team who believed that customers are best served by having car benefit arrangements specifically designed to meet their objectives rather than having to take a vanilla product.
In addition to ensuring that employees have the right tool for the job where appropriate, the car benefit is seen by many as the most important element of their remuneration package after salary and is a key differentiator for recruitment and retention purposes. The CBS Management Team were integral to the development and implementation of the first Employee Car Ownership Schemes (ECOS) in the 1990's with some of the largest corporate fleets in the UK. Since 2002, CBS has met the challenges of changing legislation and developed new structures which improve the economic efficiency of ECOS, in some cases continuing the relationship with the early proponents of these schemes and working with new clients to develop the next generation of ECOS.
Working with high profile organisations, CBS has expanded the scope of ECOS so that it is no longer just a company car alternative but enables you to deliver a new benefit to your entire employee population.
CBS has invested in infrastructure and experienced resource so that in addition to designing and implementing employee sponsored car schemes, CBS can also provide funding, scheme administration and fleet management, i.e. provide a “one stop shop” or services on a modular basis.
Being independent gives CBS the flexibility to work with customers in innovative ways. CBS finance and tax specialists have helped customers meet objectives through changing balance sheet presentation, asset refinancing, restructuring funding and/or risk commitments.
